Balance by Kelly Anna

Kelly’s work always comes from shape. In her early years she used to play with collage, so building blocks was always a way to create new pieces.

She started to explore the idea or using pieces of MDF to build her work into sculpture and started by cutting bits of cardboard and sticking them together. This then led onto creating these sculptures in wood.

Kelly Anna wanted this new exploration to feel dynamic. Each side represents the same player/dancer but also slightly different, representing the many sides of players.
