”The love for my craft and the love for my family is the balance. My family feeds my work and my work literally feeds my family. I started to incorporate that into my work to create these sort of fragmented images or memories that become complete by the balance of objects and nature around them. They are like iterations of a subject, a collage of studies I couldn't finish because I had to put down my pencil to go play trucks with my son or feed the dog or call the exterminator or bring down the laundry, etc.”
